About the Exhibition
We are excited to be participating in the 2023 Skeena Salmon Art Show travel circuit!
This annual exhibition, sponsored by the Skeena Salmon Art Fest Society, celebrates the cultural and ecological importance of the Salmon, a life-sustaining species that ties our cultures, communities & ecosystems together. This year nearly 100 artists from across Northwestern BC and beyond have created works inspired by the salmon, the Skeena, and the natural beauty and historic cultures of this region.
A selection of pieces from the Terrace Show, including paintings, carvings, textiles, glasswork, photography, jewellery, and more, will be on display in the Upstairs Gallery of the Museum. This exhibition will run from Friday, September 8 to October 7, 2023.
