Get ready for a summer packed with creativity, discovery, and non-stop fun! Our Summer of Adventure program invites kids to explore the worlds of science, culture, nature, and imagination through themed days filled with games, crafts, stories, and field trips. Whether they’re becoming space explorers, puppet makers, or nature detectives, every day is a new adventure designed to spark curiosity and joy. Open to children of all backgrounds and interests, this program offers something special each week, and memories to last a lifetime.
2025 Program Schedule

Daily Price: $9/child
Discount: 15% with Family Membership
Drop-Off Location: Museum (293 City Centre)
Morning: 10-11:30am (4-6 years old)
Afternoon: 1:30-3:30pm (7-9 years old)
Note: Registration is non-refundable, except in cases of medical/family emergency or program cancellation by the museum.
Registration is required for all Summer of Adventure programs and must be completed in person at the Kitimat Museum & Archives front desk during regular operating hours. To make the process quicker and easier, you can download the registration form from our website, fill it out at home, and bring the completed form with you when you come to register.
Please note that registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and spaces for each day are limited. We recommend registering early to ensure your child gets a spot in their preferred activities. Payment is due at the time of registration, and discounts are available for families with an active Museum Family Membership.
