Post a letter or buy your lunch with art? You do it every day. A travelling exhibition “Voices from the Engraver” is produced by the Bank of Canada Museum in partnership with the Canadian Museum of History. Showing at the Kitimat Museum & Archives in the Upstairs Gallery.

Experience the creative process, the technical skill and the sheer artistry that underlies all Canadian stamps and banknotes, from concept to final product. Reproductions of original art, printing plates, tools, rare stamps, and money are waiting for you in this fun, informative and beautiful exhibition. Take a peek behind the scenes and see intricate bank note and stamp designs.

This exhibition will run from September 21 to November 24, 2018, and  is appropriate for families, school groups, and adults.

The Kitimat Museum & Archives opened in October 1969 and has served Kitimat citizens for the past fifty years as the place for community and natural history, and an exhibition centre for visual arts.
