Open Mon to Sat: 10am to 5pm

Northern Exposures: April 6 to May 5, 2018

About the show

This is Ab Morrison-Hayward's first show. It is a collection of his First Nations art and photographs taken in Haisla territory and other areas in the north. Morrison-Hayward decided to call this show “Northern Exposures” because it shows his homeland and the many great sights that it offers.

About the Artist

Ab Morrison-Hayward has been working on traditional Northwest Coast Native design for three decades and in photography for twenty-five years. He has spent many years painting and exploring other art forms, incorporating his own traditional design.

About fifteen years ago, he began learning computer graphic design and now works almost exclusively in that format to bring his traditional art to life. Ab’s work explores traditional design with contemporary ideas, whereas his photography focuses on landscapes and wildlife.
