The North West Photo Fest exhibition features photos on display by local and regional photographers. This year’s theme is ‘The Wilderness Around Us’.

This exhibition also features a selection of the best of Canadian photojournalism in the year 2017. The News Photographers Association of Canada winners of its annual National Pictures of the Year 2017 recognizes the excellence represented in submissions by Canada’s outstanding photojournalists whose compelling images collectively represented a spectacular body of work.

The Fest exhibition will be on display in the Upstairs Gallery of the Kitimat Museum & Archives from Thursday, August 9 to Saturday, September 8, 2018.
