Made by Hand – Community Exhibition

Our summer 2023 community exhibit, “Made by Hand, will shine a spotlight on the creativity and skill of Kitimat-area artisans. The pieces on display were all handcrafted by locals and took a significant amount of time and technical expertise to create. This is the first time that most of them have been publicly exhibited. A diverse array of mediums, from painting to woodcarving, glassworking to cedar weaving, are represented. Come out and see for yourself what human hands can make with the right amount of time, knowledge, and ingenuity!

“Made by Hand” will run from July 28th – September 2nd 2023 on the upstairs gallery of the Museum, which is wheelchair-accessible by lift. Opening reception on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome and refreshments will be served.
