Local Lens 2019: August 9th to September 21st, 2019

Local Lens, an exhibition of Northwest Photographers will show in the Upstairs Gallery of the Kitimat Museum from August 9th to September 21st, 2019.

Local Lens invites the public to explore local photography by northern photographers.  With no theme, Photographers were encouraged to share through their local lenses what they see in their local lives.  Home, town activities and street views, family, friends, wildlife, and the outdoors are only a few examples. This exhibition encompasses works that range in skill levels – from amateur to professional – and techniques that emphasize the individuality of what “local” means to each photographer.
