The Kitimat Museum & Archives is excited to announce a virtual Zoom talk with Andy MacKinnon and Kem Luther, co-authors of the book B.C.'s Marvellous Mushrooms (2021) the basis for our current travelling exhibit from the Royal B.C. Museum. The talk will take place on October 24th, 2024, from 6:30-7:30 pm and can be watched remotely or in person at the Kitimat Public Library. Afterwards, attendees will be invited to view the Marvellous Mushrooms exhibit in the Upstairs Gallery of the Kitimat Museum.

Andy is a forest ecologist and the co-author of six best-selling books about plants of western North America. Kem is a naturalist and retired communications professor who has authored six other books ranging from natural history to poetry and memoir.
