Find a variety of hand-crafted items made by local artisans as well as seasonal Museum giftware.

Shop for everyone on your list at the Kitimat Museum Artisan Christmas Gift Store, located in the Upstairs Gallery. From November 18th until December 24th, 2020,  you can find pottery, quilted and knitted items, soaps and more. Shop local for homemade gifts created by local artisans and do your gift shopping at the Kitimat Museum Artisan Christmas Gift Store.

COVID-19: Protocols will be followed. The Museum staff will be monitoring the number of visitors at a time, regular sanitization and cleaning will be in place and masks are required upon entry.

2021 Vendor Participation

UPDATE: Table spots are now all booked: however, there is still availability for visual artists who want to hang their original art in the Gallery. Visual artists do not pay a registration fee, but are booked on a 75% commission, Museum 25%. Call us today at 250-632-8950 if you would like to participate.

  1. There is a $55 fee to participate; participants must have a current Museum membership.
  2. *Commission rates: no commission rate for artisans – 25% commission for visual artists in lieu of an entry fee.
  3. All items must be locally or regionally hand-crafted. Visual artists must only sell their own work, and pieces must adhere to Museum hanging requirements.
  4. Due to limited space, the number of pieces exhibited per artisan shall be decided by the Museum.
  5. An inventory list will need to be provided to enter in the POS system. Bags/tissues provided by Museum.
  6. The Museum will charge appropriate taxes to the customer.
  7. The Museum is not responsible for damaged or stolen items.
  8. Payment to the artisan and an inventory of sold items will be issued January 2022.
