Seeking crafters and artists for the 2017 Christmas Gift Store at the Kitimat Museum & Archives.
Every December, the Kitimat Museum Christmas Gift Store features hand-crafted items and art by local and regional artisans in the Upstairs Gallery of the Kitimat Museum. The Christmas Gift Store provides the community with an eclectic and diverse selection to shop from, in a friendly and festive environment.
The Christmas Gift Store is open from December 1st to the 23rd, in the Upstairs Gallery, with items arranged by the Museum staff. All inventory and sales transactions will be handled by the museum staff; bags and tissue provided.
The registration fee is $55, and registrants must have an active membership to participate (contact the museum for membership prices or visit www.kitimatmuseum.ca). There is no commission rates for crafters; there is a 25% commission rate for visual artists in lieu of an entry fee, and all art supplied by visual artists must adhere to the Kitimat Museum gallery hanging requirements. Every vendor that participates has the option to have their website or Facebook page listed through our website – it’s free advertising!
