Research Opportunities

With staff assistance visitors can access the Museum's collection of photographs and textual records in the Archives, access the artifact collections, and browse through the reference library.

There is a fee structure for staff to search on behalf of individuals, consultants, corporations, etc.  Review our Research Request Charges Policy for the rates.

No charge will apply when Museum staff conduct research for the Museum in order for basic questions on Kitimat history to be answered.  No charge will also apply when a staff member must spend time to compile a list of holdings that could be of interest to the researcher.  Limit of 1 hour per request.

You can obtain photocopies of most archival material in our collections for a fee of 25 cents per copy.
