In 2011, the Museum has celebrated two openings and received a nomination from the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce for Hospitality/Tourism - Business of the Year.

"Museum in the Classroom" Art Workshop sponsors gathered for a photo opportunity with student artwork for 2011 in the Museum's Upstairs Gallery.
