In celebrating the 150th birthday of Canada, the Kitimat Museum & Archives collaborated with the Kitimat Public Library to host an exhibition of visual arts and written works of local artists, writers and students. The opening reception was held on June 16, 2017 and enthusiastically attended by the public. There were speeches, door prizes, prizes for the written portion of the exhibition - and of course, there was cake for everyone to enjoy.
The exhibition was available for viewing from June 16th to August 5, 2017 in the upstairs gallery of the Kitimat Museum.
Thank you to all the participants of the Canada 150 exhibition, and all those that attended the reception and took the time to come view the show in it's run.
