THIS YEAR, part of the show will be on display at the Kitimat Museum & Archives (Sept. 8 to Oct. 14) – how fantastic it would be to see some local entries!

Check out this exciting Call for Entry! The Skeena Salmon Art Show is a touring, juried exhibition sale featuring works that are inspired by the critical importance of salmon to our cultures, communities, and ecosystems.

Deadline for registration is Saturday, June 17th! Open to emerging and professional artists!

 

Salmon are one of the main reasons many of us are here in the Skeena Watershed. They are the foundation for many of our communities and cultures. Salmon inspire and sustain us. The Skeena Salmon Art Show is an annual exhibition dedicated to the cultural and ecological importance of the Salmon.

For 2023, we are calling on artists connected to Salmon and to the Skeena and Watersheds and beyond to create works that are inspired by the critical importance of salmon to our cultures, communities, and ecosystems.

Terrace Art Gallery: August 4th -31st, 2023

Kitimat Museum & Archives: September 8th – October 7th, 2023

Smithers Art Gallery: October 10th – November 11th, 2023
